Programme details Duration – 2012-2015 Implementers: GIZ, BGR, OA Countries: Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan Target groups: government bodies and think tanks, as well as experts and managerial staff in business-sector organisations, training institutions and non-governmental organisations proprietors, managers and employees of companies in the mineral resources sector and in upstream and downstream industries, and the residents of selected (potential) mining regions.

  5. Improvement of investment climate in Central Asia: The national governments in Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan have each adopted a regulation on the state framework in the mineral resources sector that has been drawn up in cooperation between mining companies, public authorities and civil society.
