Revised Example for Ball Valve Normalization: Metal Release Test Assembly

Revised example for ball valve normalization(DWA 61-2011-5) When looking for metal release, Section 8 requires the product to be exposed to a water volume close to the Vf(static) volume used during normalization. This commonly requires creation of a “test assembly” Test Assembly [The handle of the ball valve has been set to the back of the picture to not disclose the manufacturer.] “Control”

  3. Revised example for ball valve normalization(DWA 61-2011-5) Proposal is to change the in-line device normalization example to reflect instances where test assemblies are used.
