  2. Safety First Before you can use your earphones, you need to make sure you know how to use them safely...

  3. Wearing Earphones When you put on your earphones, putthem onto your ears in the Left/ Right position, but not so tightly that it hurts! You can adjust the Strap for comfort over Your head.

  4. Turn down the sound! Earphones can cause damage to your ears! Know how to turn down the sound before you start! Picture source:http://www.noisebrakers.com/noise_induced_hearing_loss

  5. On Home Screen Look for the sound icon at the bottom of the screen!

  6. Turning Down the Sound Click on the sound icon to control the volume: Drag the bar upand downto turn the sound up or down. For safety, don’t turn your sound up past half way!

  8. How to Store Your Earphones Your earphones always go into your bag, with your name on it:

  9. To Keep Them From Damage Make sure you fold them neatly before placing in the bag. Don’t wind them up tightly or pull hard when you take them out of the bag! Folded, not wound up!

  11. Getting Set Up! Step 1: Your name should be on a label on the front of your bag.

  12. Getting Set Up! Step 2: Open the package, take out the headphones. Unfold the wires and make sure they are not bunched up.

  13. Getting Set Up! Step 3: Plug your earphones into your computer in one of two places: Look for the headphone symbol

  14. Getting Set Up! Step 4: Test the sound – click on the speaker and select a sound level for your ears.

  16. Getting CleanedUp! Step 5: Unplug your earphones by pulling on the plug, not on the cord. Pull on this! Not on this!

  17. Putting the Headphones Away! Step 6: Fold up your earphones neatly and place them in the bag. When instructed, put them away in your class bag!
