  2. Fuerteventura and the windsurf! • Many sites around the world want to be famous destinations for Windsurfing but Fuerteventura is really one of the best windsurfing sites, with events like the World Championship that is held every year in Sotavento in the South of the island.

  3. The windsurf isimportantfor Fuerteventura. • Windsurfing is the most important sport of Fuerteventura island and there is a large community of resident surfers and windsurfers. There are also many foreign people doing these sport in their holidays. • The windsurfing is very important because the economy of the Fuerteventura is based on tourism and activities like windsurfing attract many people to the island for many reasons.
