  6. Testimonials “On December 1st I took my dog Remmy in to Northern Michigan Veterinary Hospital with what I thought was a sprain, pulled muscle or torn ligament in his front left leg. After a thorough check and x-rays were taken it was determined that he had cancer in his leg. He had been limping and getting sick but I never connected the two. It was very hard for me to hear and broke my heart, the thought of losing my precious dog was devastating. I was given several options and had several questions that Dr. Peck answered and it helped ease my worries. I decided to choose the amputation of his leg, within 10 days Remmy was taken in for his operation and the compassion I received from Dr. Peck and his staff was more than I ever expected, I left knowing my dog was in the best hands. They called to let me know just before he went in for surgery and called again as soon as he was done to let me know how he was doing. Remmy goes in every 3 weeks for Chemo treatment and spends the day with this wonderful staff. When I pick him up at the end of the day it is like picking up a child from daycare. I can tell he is happy to see me but he also had a great day and is very comfortable there. To be able to leave my dog in trusted care is very important to me and I couldn’t ask for a better veterinarian facility to take him. If you need a great team to care for your pet or pets, I highly recommend Dr. Peck and his staff!! It has been 2 months and as you can see in this picture Remmy looks great and he looks healthy. He hasn’t gotten sick, even with the chemo. This is my second dog that they have cared for. Herbal has hip dysplasia and goes in for VMO treatments which has helped him be a lot more mobile. Before the treatments he was in a lot of pain and wouldn’t jump up on my bed any more….but he does now. He is 7 years old but acts like a puppy!! Again I owe it to Dr. Peck and his staff!! I thank God for directing me towards this wonderful team!!” - Julie “I just wanted to sincerely thank you for the time, kindness, and patience you have so generously given us. We are truly grateful to have met you and your staff, and feel very fortunate to now be working with you in the care of our Bella. Thank you so very much!” -Frank & Shannon “Thank you for your kindness you showed to all of us. We were strangers here and you took us in and treated us like family.”-Rod & Mary Jane “I just wanted to thank you for the many years of competent and compassionate service you’ve provided for my family and our pets. This community is privileged to have a provider of your caliber”-Fenton

  7. “My German Shepherd, Herbal was diagnosed with hip dysplasia in March of 2012.In April of 2013 he was getting worse and would no longer jump on my bed or up into the vehicle and would cry out in pain often.I looked into hip replacement surgery and found it would cost about $10,000 dollars and there were no guarantees.I was beside myself and prayed for answers..In June of 2013 I was told about Northern Michigan Veterinary Hospital and a VOM/VMR & Massage Therapy that they offered.I set up an appointment and on June 28thwe went in for a second opinion and talk about the therapy they offered.Dr. Peck agreed with the diagnoses of hip dysplasia and then explained the options and was very honest about the therapy and how he thought it would help. The cost was affordable for me and so we set up a plan and Herbal was given his first treatmentthat day.During the treatment he was uneasy but with the compassion and care of Dr. Peck and his staff he did great!!By the third treatment I could see a huge difference in him and the spark was back in his eyes.It has been almost 3 months and my 110lbs dog is acting like a puppy and wants to play with the other dogs again. He is jumping back on the bed and the other day before I had a chance to stop him he had hopped into the vehicle!!I have my fun loving furry baby back and I couldn’t be more happy and relieved. My thanks to God for answered prayers and to you Dr. Peck and your staff for helping Herbal and I through this. “ -Julie “I just wanted to drop you guys a line to say that since Olive’s teeth removal last month she has been doing great! Her eyes have cleared up, she has way more energy than we've ever seen her with, and her coat has become very soft and glossy. Thanks for doing a great job!” –Lauren “The care and compassion at NMVH is unparalleled and I would trust my animals (that are my life) to no one else. I may have an hour drive to get to NMVH, but they go that extra mile and beyond and so will I!” -Katy “I always leave feeling confident my dog received the best care that is available out there.” -Jennifer “I truly appreciate the personal attention and care that we receive at NMVH. Whenever there is any issue or question, we can count on a quick and honest answer along with a solution or suggestions as to what we should do!” -CandieI am so thankful for Dr. Peck and his wonderful staff for all that they have done for me and Roscoe. They go above and beyond to educate and inform their patients “parents” at all steps along the way. The entire staff is warm and welcoming, and both Roscoe and I love to go there. I highly recommend Northern Michigan Veterinary Hospital” -Carrie “Our nearly 13 year old lab, Oscar, has been a patient of Dr. Peck’s for years. He had a very successful repair of a torn ACL a few years ago. Recently, he began laser therapy treatments; it has been amazing to see the change in his comfort level and agility. We feel very fortunate to have a veterinarian of this caliber in our area.” -Kris
