3. Daywise Itinerary Niagara Day 1 Welcome to Buffalo. On arrival, transfer from the airport to the hotel on your own and check-in. (Check-in time is after 1500 hrs.) Later, we drive to Niagara to get a view of the Falls - transformed into an incredible, multi-coloured water and light masterpiece as they are lit up in in a rainbow of coloured lights - a fascinating sight indeed! Overnight in Niagara. (D) Niagara Falls, Williamsport Day 2 Today, we drive to Niagara Falls to get a first-hand experience of the exhilarating force of these mighty falls. We take a boat tour on the 'Maid of the Mist' into the heart of the mighty Horseshoe Falls. This is truly a fantastic journey through crashing waters surrounded by massive rock formations. (Due to weather conditions, the 'Maid of the Mist' operates only from the last week of May. Tours visiting Niagara before the last week of May get a ride on the View Mobile Tram). 4. Hershey and Washington DC Day 3 Today, we drive to Hershey, where we visit the Hershey's Chocolate World and witness how cocoa beans are turned into delicious chocolate right in front of our eyes. We seize this opportunity to visit the chocolate shop and take goodies home for our loved ones. We then drive on to Washington DC and proceed on a guided tour of this city - the majestic capital of the United Sates. We start at the National Air and Space Museum where we get a unique opportunity to view aircraft models and displays like the Wright Brothers' first aircraft and Charles Lindberg's 'Spirit of St Louis'. Later we see the Lincoln Memorial, the Korean Memorial and Capitol Hill. We also view the White House, home of the US President. (Due to security reasons permission to enter or go near the White House is not granted). Overnight in Washington DC. (B, L, D) New York Day 4 Today, we drive to New York - the Big Apple. We first visit 'One World Observatory' on levels 100, 101 and 102 of the main building of the rebuilt World Trade Center complex in Lower Manhattan - the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere. From here we get unique, panoramic views of New York city, its most iconic sites and the surrounding waters. We then check into the hotel in New York's famed Times Square, which is near well-known attractions like Radio City Music Hall, NBC Studios, Central Park and 5th Avenue - famous for shopping. You have time on your own to browse at the many shops dotting Times Square in the heart of the theatre district, or just stroll through the streets of central Manhattan. Overnight in New York. 5. New York City Day 5 Today, we drive to Battery Park and take a ferry to Liberty Island to see the famous American icon of freedom - The Statue of Liberty. Later we enjoy a guided panoramic city tour of New York. We see many wonderful sights in this exciting city. Along with a walking tour of Wall Street, we view 5th Avenue, Rockefeller Center, the United Nations Building and New York's lungs - the beautiful Central Park, where we see the bronze statue of Alice in Wonderland and much more. Enroute, we stop at the 9/11 Memorial Museum, earlier the World Trade Center, to pay homage to the hundreds of innocent lives in the World Trade Center bombing. Overnight in New York. (B, L, D) Return Home Day 6 Today we check out and drive to the airport on own. It's time to say goodbye to all the new friends you have made on tour.
