Discover amazing cities in Lebanon Lebanon is an incredible tourist destination with its fascinating historical landmarks, pristine beaches, delicious cuisine, stellar night life and picturesque mountains. Lebanon is a small country along the Mediterranean with a population of around five million, currently housing at least one million Syrian refugees. Lebanon has been attracting a number of tourists from all over the world due to these amazing places. There are so many things to do in Lebanon that you will absolutely love. Here are some suggestions about where to go in Lebanon. List of amazing cities of Lebanon: 1. Sidon Sidon is the third most populous city in Lebanon with a population of 163,554. Sidon has important trading facilities, health centers, schools, churches, mosques, and entertainment centers.

Zahle Zahle has a prime position right in the Bekaa valley. Tyre Tyre existed in the ancient times as a Phoenician city and is currently one of the largest cities in Lebanon with a population of 135,204. The Port of Tyre is a little harbor that lies at south of Lebanon. It holds immense historical significance as it was the spot of several invasions from famous conquerors such as Alexander the Great. . This included a temple that played homage to the god, Melkart.
