Why She Is Famous • She is famous because she invented liquid paper. • Began marketing her invention as “Mistake Out” in 1956. • The name was later changed to “White Out”. • In 1979, she sold her invention to the Gillette Corporation for $47.9 million.
Why She Is Famous • Her company employed 200 people and made 25 million bottles of Liquid Paper per year. • Her liquid paper is made up of white, water-based, tempera paint
