  2. 教学目标 (一)知 识 用When来询问他人生日,学会英语表达日期的方法(月份+日期)用How old 来询问年龄,理解’s 所胡格的形式及意义和运用。能力培养让学生用英语交流,谈论生日、日期及学校或自己的活动安排,培养学生用英语进行交际并获取信息的能力。情感体验学生询问朋友及家人的生日,并记住他们的生日,到时说一声“Happy birthday”,增进互间的感情。

  3. 重点难点 • 学生做到正确发出January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, Detober, November, December的读音可能比较难,因此,这是重点内容。正确读出并掌握 ordinal mumbers 1st 到31st 的拼写规律是重点和难点内容之一

  4. 教学方法 • 通过学生自学、教师点拨后,学生归纳说出英语日期的表达和汉语的表达有何不同。最后进入任务型操练,完成教学内容。

  5. 教学准备 • 计算机、投影机、卡片。

  7. 教学流程 一、创设情景、整体感知 先学习序数词,再到12个月名称的认读,可通过听、读、写等方式来加深学生的认识。 二、师生互动 教师问几个学生下面的问题,学生回答。(投影机课件演示) 师:Hello,…(a student’ s name)! When is your birthday? 生:My birthay(It) is… 师:How old are you? 生:I’ m …(yeare old) ………………. 明确:学生对日期中月份及序数词的读音是否正确,英语中的日期表达通常顺序是:“月份名+日期,年份”即:月 日,年。如“1998年12月12日”的英语为:December 12th,1998.

  8. 三、实践活动 学生动手制作用英语表示的2004年日历或挂历,并用When is your birthday? 相互提问,将班级同学的生日在日历中标出来。如:

  9. 四、达标反馈 教师先让学生自问自答,设计自己的ID,然后收集起来,用英语来描述,问是谁的ID。 学生自问的句子: ①What is my name? ②When is my birthday? 教师所用的句子: ① He/She was born on…… ②So…is his her birthday .
