Why are we here – the need grows • 100+% Increase in calls every year since 2008! • >1600 Homeless children - PBC School District • (440 in South Palm Beach County) • 11.7% of Families under poverty line (>41,000 children) Palm Beach County • 42% homeless children under 6 • 1 in 45 children experience homelessness every year • 200,000 children homeless on any night Nationwide • 279% increase in homeless families since 2007

Family Promise of South Palm Beach County An Effective Local Response A slightly over 5 year old nonprofit that helps Local Children and Families Who Are Temporarily Homeless Graduate to Sustainable Independence with 100% Success Rate among Graduates Key Services Provided • Temporary shelter • Food • Companionship • Financial management counseling • Parenting/Family therapy • Job placement aid • Subsidized Housing assistance

  7. FPSPBC Key Metrics (11/08-12/13) Cost Effective < 3 full time employees ~1,100 volunteers >137,810 volunteer hours >42,000 meals >14,000 bed nights >100% success rate among graduates ~206 graduates (incl. 124 children in 66 families
