  3. Pretérito • A single event (Something that happened once.) Ejemplo: Fui a Madrid el sábado.

  4. One or more events or actions that began and ENDED in the past. Ejemplo: Fui a Madrid y compré un boleto para ir a Salamanca.

  5. An event that occurred, interrupting another action Ejemplo: …cuando me dijeron la verdad.

  6. Changes in an existing physical or mental state at a precise moment for a particular isolated cause. Ejemplo: Tuve miedo cuando vi el perro.

  7. IMPERFECTO

  8. A habitual/repeated action. Ejemplo: Cada día hacía la tarea.

  10. General description of physical or mental states of being Ejemplo: Tenía miedo de perros.

  11. Time/Date/Age Ejemplos: Eran las cinco de la tarde. Era mi cumpleanos, tenía catorce anos.
