Objectives • Get the participants organized for the conduct of the IAEA standard exercise WS-013: Exercise Organization
How • You will be divided into groups of controllers • You will be assigned specific functions • You will review your roles and think about what you need to know and what you need to do • For the exercise, some will be selected to act as actual controllers • The rest will be players WS-013: Exercise Organization
Chief controller: instructor Chief evaluator Site controller/evaluator Radiation 1 controller First response controller/evaluator Medical 1 controller D-1 D-2 C-1 W-1 W-2 Selected Controllers(Select 2 persons for each position) Note: controllers will also be evaluators because of the reduced availability of personnel WS-013: Exercise Organization
Review Controllers, review your roles and instructions • Site controller • Prepare material for the scene • Brief victims and prepare them • Radiation 1 controller • Customize radiation data at the scene • Distribute to other controllers WS-013: Exercise Organization
