  1. P.E.P. is Walking Aerobics for fun, fitness, and for health. We choose walking aerobics because it is an energy booster. It makes your heart stronger, decreases body fat, uplift moods, and relieves tension. Walking can lessen daily anxiety, improve self-esteem, and increase your sense of well-being. The best way to lose weight is to decrease your food intake while increasing your physical activity. Walking also improves your ability to use oxygen and helps strengthen your heart. This can lessen the risk of heart disease, heart attack and high blood pressure. P.E.P. is a Ministry of Women coming together acknowledging that our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit. It is the Holy Spirit that is within us, and we received this from God. We are not our own. We were bought with a price. Therefore honor God with your body. ( 1 Cor. 6:19) P.E.P. is Praise P.E.P. is Sisterhood Philippians 3:18-21 says, For as I (Paul) have often told you before and now say again even with tears, many love as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their destiny is destruction, and their god is their stomach, their glory is in the shame. Their mind is on earthly things. But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ. Who by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control will transform our lowly bodies so that we will be like His glorious body. Acts 16:13-15 When Paul needed a place to pray. While in Philippi, he met Lydia and a group of God fearing women who loved to worship and praise God. Lydia received Paul’s teaching, got baptized and opened her home to them for ministry. P.E.P. is a group of sisters being burden bearers for one another. We are prayer partners and we are here as moral support for one another and our church family. P.E.P. is Praying Give Yourself the Gift of Good Health before we exercise because we know the flesh is weak and has no desire to do what is right. When I want to do good evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God’s law, but I see another law at work in the members of my body waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God through Christ Jesus our Lord! (Romans 7:21-25)– I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13)

Attire is P Comfortable tennis shoes, t-shirts, loose fitted bottoms, bottle of water and hand sanitizer. rayer Eat a Well Balance Diet • Eat foods low in saturated fats, transfats and sugar. • Include lots of fruits and vegetables, whole grains, lean meats, fish and low fat dairy products. Requirements to participate: xercise • Make sure your doctor says it’s okay to work out and use the equipment. • Pray to God for direction if this ministry is for you. • We would like for you to commit to every week for two months to increase your body’s metabolism. Exercise Regularly E • Ask your doctor what type of exercise is best for you. Know Your Numbers P raise • Ask your doctor for your total cholesterol numbers, LDL, HDL, Triglycerides and Blood pressure. Do Not Smoke Reduce Stress Maintain a Healthy Diet • Smoking could cause lung cancer. • Ask your doctor what is a healthy diet range for you. • Try relaxation techniques like listening to music, massages or exercise.
