  1. KoM Summary Philippe Gavillet CETA-CIEMAT (Spain) & CERN (Switzerland) GISELA KoM, 21st - 24th September 2010 San Luis Potosi (Mexico)

  2. Good KoM start with: • i-SGTW announcement of the GISELA start (don’t forget to register to i-SGTW: no fees!) • Positive news on RNP participation • Management as proposed by Bernard • Unanimously endorsed • Already well in place • BUT: still some missing names • Very comprehensive overview of GISELA by Bernard. Reference to keep in mind what is expected from each one of us GISELA KoM - 21-24 September 2010 - San Luis Potosi (Mexico)

  3. Good to realise that are already available: • Web site, Documents Server, Events Server,… • Modus Operandi • It should help all GISELA participants to get started • But the GISELA info have to be consulted • Excellent presentations of (most) WPs with precise roadmaps: WP Managers highly motivated • WP5 roadmap needs further iteration • The CLARA Transition Team needs to materialise and to become active as suggested by the WP’s roadmaps • Some roadmaps need to be harmonised across WPs (e.g.: Dissemination plans as seen by WP2 and CLARA) GISELA KoM - 21-24 September 2010 - San Luis Potosi (Mexico)

  4. Excellent Partner presentations showing: • Enthusiasm to participate in GISELA • Strong commitments to achieve their part of the objectives • However, a couple of Partners need to wake up a.s.a.p and to become active at the level of the others • We can’t have 2 categories of Partners: active and dormant ! • We had a most comprehensive discussion on VRCs involvement with emerging strategies. WP3 will have a hard task but it is well prepared • The roadmap to get the e-Infrastructure operational is defined in all necessary details GISELA KoM - 21-24 September 2010 - San Luis Potosi (Mexico)

  5. The WP6 plans are well defined, capitalising fully on the services developed in the context of EELA-2 • WP2 has already sketched its Dissemination Plan… but dissemination is the concern of all WPs! • Connexion with EGI, CHAIN, other Regional Initiatives • already well established • Near future common actions rather well defined • Very positive 1st contact with 15 Mexican Industry representatives (“Chambers of Commerce” probably the best contact points anywhere) • Improvised presentation to UASLP students with good interaction • We (urgently) need a summary document (ppt, pdf, …) customisable to reach various publics (newcomers, politicians, students, etc.) GISELA KoM - 21-24 September 2010 - San Luis Potosi (Mexico)

  6. Succeeded to mix CLARA & NRENS and Grid “cultures”: • Lively discussions across communities • Emerging synergies (as expected) • Last news: UA San Luis Potosi joining the Mexican JRU and GISELA !!!! • A lot of challenging but exiting work in front of us Thanks to all and… best wishes to GISELA GISELA KoM - 21-24 September 2010 - San Luis Potosi (Mexico)
