  3. The Question • What factors contribute to the dropout rate for high school students in Ingham County?

The Process Structured Dialogic Design Process (SDDP) • It is a tool for managing complexity. • It is a process to identify and analyze the Factors that contribute to complex problems and discovering the root cause Factors. • It’s goal seeks to prevent the problem from happening again by identifying the Factors, the influences of each Factor on other Factors, and mapping the corresponding influence structure making the complex situation transparent. • The result will illuminate the influences of selected Factors and a shared understanding of the most leveraged Factors to be addressed in the design and implementation of potential solutions.
