  3. 睡蓮的身分證 • 名稱﹕睡蓮科 • 發現地點﹕巴克禮公園的﹙竹溪） • 出生日期﹕89年6月01日

  4. 睡蓮的特色 • 1 科別：睡蓮科 • 2 學名：Nymphaea spp • 3 「睡蓮」的葉片是平貼在水面水上；葉大多呈圓心形，少數為卵或盾形，葉緣有的有鋸齒，有的全緣，成熟的葉具有很長的葉柄，會隨著水深而調整長度。 • 4 花色繁多，有紅、黃、白、紫、籃及各種中間色，每一朵花有1─7大的壽命。

  5. 睡蓮的葉子 • 很多人弄不清楚荷，蓮，睡蓮之間的差別，其實蓮花就是荷花的別名，所以蓮就是荷，而睡蓮和荷花就有許多不同的地方。 • 如睡蓮的葉子有一個深裂，浮貼在水面上，顏色較深綠；而荷葉沒有裂痕，而且葉子是挺立於水面上的。

  6. 睡蓮的花 • 花：花徑10 -40公分，花萼 4 枚，花瓣多數，狹長形，花瓣成淡紫色，雄蕊多數，許多小花聚集成頭狀花序，花朵高舉出水面。開花時間於午前七時至午後四時，可持續至4~5月。

  7. 睡蓮的果實 • 花直接開在或頂多稍稍地冒出水面，花謝後，花梗便會下彎；整朵花即沒水中，果實將於水面下發育、成熟。
