  20. Institute of Technical Education Problems, Issues and Concerns 2) Technical Support • How easy can the staff access to the Tech Support to solve their technical problems encountered during their class lessons. • How fast is the turn-around time for the Tech Support to response so as to minimise disruption to Lecturers’ teaching lessons and schedules.

  21. Institute of Technical Education Conclusion - Future Plans ITE Strategic priorities: • Intensifying innovation in teaching and learning such as • utilizing web 2.0 or 3.0 tools in our Learning Management • System for collaborations among lecturers and students. • Keeping abreast on the latest technological developments in ICT such as Augmented Reality; and incorporating new media platforms such as Mobile devices as teaching and learning tools. • Training and upgrading of staff competency for the new technology to meet the needs of technological change. • Undertake development of innovative applications after the trainings as part of the staff development initiatives.
