Legal Status of PMSSS • PMSSS is a Registered Society under the Indian Societies Registration Act 1860 in 1977. • PMSSS is also Registered under Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) and has Income Tax Exemption under 12 A and Permanent 80 G of the Income Tax Act. Areas of Operation •  The areas of operations include Pondicherry and Karaikal regions in the Union territory of Pondicherry. • Cuddalore and Villupuram districts in the state of Tamil Nadu.

Vision “To establish a loving and peaceful society based on human value of Fraternity, Equality, Liberty and Justice” Mission PMSSS works for the poorest of the poor of the communities such as Women, Disabled, marginalized, unreached, agricultural landless laborers, marginal and small farmers, fisher folk, destitute, rural artisans, Dalits, un organized daily laborers, refugees etc for mobilizing them into their own organization for self-reliance and sustainability with specific reference to gender equality and equity.
