  1. November BoxTopsUpdate • - Thanks to everyone who turned in Box Tops during September and October -  We've earned over $1500 so far this school year!  Way to go!   • - The winner of the $10.00 Target gift card for the summer was  Carter Chandler in Ms. Scoggins' 2nd grade class, and for October it was Meleah Coon in Ms. Frangioni's 4th grade class.   • - We have 6 classes currently vying for first place for most Box Tops turned in (with the prize at the end of the year being the coveted BoxTops trophy (stop by Ms. Pinckney's class to see it) and an end of year party), but there is still lots of time to get in the running.  The classes with most Box Tops turned in as of the end of October are – Ms. Sweitzer (K) - 1589; Ms. Bell (5) - 1086; Ms. Kent-Gload (5) - 1080; Ms. Pinckney (2) - 1071; Ms. Potts (2) - 982 and Ms. Brown (1) - 898. • - Don't forget to check out the racetrack in the school lobby to see what your class standing is in the Box Tops race. • - We would also like to extend a special thank you to ShereeDegeyter and Amber Lowrance for helping us count the October Box Tops submissions. Ridgeway PTA hosted their third annual Holiday Craft Fair. We sold 34 tables and made $1072.00.  I wanted to take this opportunity to thank all the Vendors-we had a lot of great stuff this year! I also want to say thank you to all the Shoppers who came out to Support the Fair. Thank you to my Friday night set up crew and Saturday clean up crew. It would not be a success without the help of great parents, grandparents, and Former Ridgeway Students and Parents.  Thank you Santa for stopping by for a visit!  It's great to have parents and kids that come back to help--shows just how special Ridgeway is! Hope you had a chance to try a sandwich from Express Pit Beef. Thank you to Mr. Jones and son and Ms. Lahdelma for providing us with tables.  Thank you Mrs. Wardell and Mrs. Jones for being their Saturday so PTA could hold this event. We are looking for another great year next year.  I am stepping down as chairperson but don't worry I have a wonderful replacement so be sure to check it out next year! Coming Up: PTA Meeting, Tuesday, December 4th at 6:30pm in the cafeteria
