Financing • Vastmajority of Caritas incomecomesfromNPHCF activity. • Mainfinancingcomesfrom National Health Fund (NHF).The contractedincomein 2010 was 7.2 million PLN (ca 1.8 million Euro) • Some services areobligatory for patients to be partiallypaid.   15. Financing and crisisrecommendations • NPHCF activity is one of the principal, in addition to grants and 1%taxesmechanism, sources of Caritasfunding. Therealways be thedemand for such services. • Recommendations in a crisis: • - a permanent, independent, source of fundingiscrucial; • the scope of thissourceis different than the projects area; • itallows theflexibilityof action and does not make so dependantfrom grant funders; • itallows to haveyourowncontribution (obligatoryin many projects). “NO PROFIT EUROPE” GRUNDTVIG PARTNERSHIP
