Objectives • Motivating the creative and innovative thinking and practical skills. • Connecting students’ projects outputs with the market and local community needs. • Creating interactive communication channels between various market parties and university graduates. • Encouraging the healthy and ethical habits of work among students that are related to teamwork, leadership, and taking the initiative. • Highlighting capacity and role of female students in the field of technology and engineering technology.

Parade Activities • Distributing awards to winning students’ projects. • Projects Exhibition and presentations. • Company booths for recruiting students. • Companies presentations • Presentations addressing new advancements in technology and engineering. • Lego Robotics competition. • Technical and non-technical lectures for preparing the graduates to enter the job market.

Project Ideas • Document Tracking-RFID Solution, Estarta • Cisco IP Phone Application, Estarta • University Academic Website, Ministry of ICT • Arabic Child Website, Ministry of ICT • Electronic Polling Systems, UNIFEM and SEDCO • What-If-Analysis for Queuing System, SEDCO • Jordan's Volunteers Portal, UNIFEM, INJAZ, and Ministry of Political Development • Workflow Management Engine, Optimiza • Arabic OCR (Optical Character Recognition), Optimiza • AMAN WEB Enabled Services, Optimiza • Business Intelligence Telecommunication Model, Oracle

  10. Support • Support the students participating in developing projects in the six project themes or the project ideas suggested by the participating organizations. The ceiling of this financial support is JOD500 for every student team. • Additional technical and financial support is available for some of the project ideas.

  11. Prizes • Six prizes for the six project themes, JOD500 each. • One JOD500 prize for best project selected by the audience. • One JOD1,500 prize for best project supervisor for attending a conference. • Additional prizes from the participating organizations for the Project Ideas.

  12. Registration • Form a team (1-4), select a team leader. • Get a supervisor • Do the project in the Academic Year 2007/2008 • Fill the registration form • Get support • Submit you work in March 2008
