Impact of GM-CSF and IL-4 on THP-1 Cell IL-12 and IL-10 Production

This study investigates the effects of various cytokines, including GM-CSF and IL-4, on THP-1 monocyte cell line production of IL-12 and IL-10. Different experimental conditions were tested, including THP-1 cells alone, and in combination with GM-CSF and IL-4, as well as specific treatments with GL-PS. The results reveal significant variations in cytokine levels under diverse stimulation regimes, providing insights into immune modulation by these factors in monocyte-derived immune responses.
