Clinical and pharmaceutical managers ensuring that their facility is operating with its highest potential by supervision of day-to-day management activities. They have to develop and implement Aims, policies, and procedures for their departments and trained staff about changes.
They manage and evaluate the quality of work of the administrative as well as clinical work and clinical trial, clerical, and professional staff. They manage activities and training efforts for employees.
They create and manage budgets, monitor recruitment, and organize activities with other managers. Clinical and pharmaceutical managers manage purchasing decisions and communications activities as well as ensuring to have the needed equipment for each need. We have 4 intakes per year for this study program: january, april, july and october.
Why Clinical & Pharmaceutical Management This study is very beneficial for students who are planning to work in health departments. The number of clinical and pharmaceutical managers is expected to grow faster than all other professions by increasing of 16% by the year 2016 (Bureau of Labor Statistics, Occupational Outlook Handbook - Current Edition). The growth and expansion of the healthcare industry drive employment growth.
Academic Goal Graduates of this course will have a wide range of managerial career paths to choose from because of the high level the qualification that they will receive. Students will be confident, skilful leaders that will be able to adapt to any situation that they may need to face once employed.
They will have knowledge of the current health and sanitation regulations, state of the art health machinery and high standards of preparation and presentation when it comes to service for costumers in hospitals.
Programme Overview The students will be taught through a series of lectures and hands on experience on campus in order to gain new skills and build on basic skills learnt at an earlier level in their education.
However, as each student is different and it is important for us to be able to cater to every students needs when it comes to their career goals, we will give our students the chance to choose from a list of elective modules in order to shape their curriculum to shape their own goals.
Students will be marked on assessments such as exams, presentations, essays and skills assessments.
Bachelor Degree • Duration: one Academic year or more • Degree: BBA in Clinical & Pharmaceutical Management • Age: Minimum age 18 years • Previous study: Associate Bachelor or equivalent
