  2. MISSION • The Navy Parachute Team demonstrates professional Navy excellence by performing precision parachute demonstrations throughout the United States in support of Navy public outreach.

  3. TEAM OVERVIEW • Established in 1969, officially commissioned in 1974 as the U.S. Navy Parachute Team. • 7 members: four jumpers and three support staff (PAO, HM, Safety Officer) • Augments • ADCON and OPCON by Commander Naval Special Warfare Command Recruiting Directorate

  4. PERFORMANCES • 1-3 shows a day • Typically four to six jumpers • Aircraft • Military (fixed and rotary wing) • civilian (anything that will get us to altitude) • Freefall & Canopy Relative Work • Special Equipment: • American Flag, POW, team or other specialty flags • Smoke/Night Pyrotechnics • Team jersey, game ball • Spectator Interaction

  10. DEADLINES • Deadline Dates • 60-90 days out: Submit 2535 Aerial Requests • 45 days out: Must be approved by CHINFO • 20 working days out: DDT to submit 2535 and 7711to FAA. Details locked down.
