Powys midwives: • Carry their own caseload of women • They are the lead professional and co-ordinate care for all women • They refer women to DGH when appropriate but continue to provide midwifery support. • As small teams they provide a 24 hour on call service. Available to all Powys women. • They work flexible hours to meet the needs of the client.
