  4. Questions A question asks something. It ends with a question mark (?). Examples: ? 1. When did your family go on vacation X 2. He built the wall by himself ? 3. How much weight can you lift 4. It was Caitlin’s birthday X

  5. Command A command tells someone to do something. It ends with a period (.). Examples: X 1. Why are you painting a picture . 2. Pack your bags for our trip X 3. Did you open the door . 4. Open your gift

  6. Exclamation An exclamation shows strong feeing. It ends with an exclamation point (!). Examples: ! 1. I’m so hungry X 2. Please push the cart X 3. Here is an apple ! 4. Put out the fire
