  1. The Grad Group!!!!! Group Members:Mitchell, Matt, Bridget, Taylor, Victoria, Jennifer, Elizabeth, Cassidy, Maryam

  2. Some Ideas… Big Events: Sports Day, Lip Dub, Flash Mob, Grad Prank and more… We plan to ask the grads in the coming grad meeting on January 17th to submit their ideas for possible grad events.

  3. Our Goals Are… Goal #1 To get grads stoked and pumped for the year end assembly and to plan one big event for all the grads (like sports day). Assembly Idea: FlashMob!!!

  4. Goal #2 To plan a safe and fun grad prank that will make people more enthusiastic about grading and bring our grad class together.

  5. Goal #3 To put on several grad events that will unite all groups of people. Including smaller events for different types of people.

  6. Obstacles… Obstacle #1 – The Major Events Lack of participation People are not aware of the events People not knowing the moves to the dance Obstacle #2 – The Prank Lack of effort and participation The plans for the prank get out to too many people Things not going as planned Students losing control/ getting out of hand Obstacle #3 – The Minor Events People thinking the events are lame and not wanting to join Teachers not being able to supervise People are not aware of the events

Strategies… Strategy to Solve Obstacle #1 • Choosing a song that everybody enjoys and make a specific schedule that every grad will receive • Make easy moves and set up several practices • Limit who’s involved Strategy to Solve Obstacle #2 • Emphasizing that it’s a prank and people won’t get in trouble for it • Use a private Facebook group or limit the number of people who are part of it, make sure they don’t say anything • Reinforce consequences for misbehavior and over-plan of the event Strategy to Solve Obstacle #3 • Create a survey for grad to hand out at grad meeting for their opinions • Include in survey which day of the week is best

  8. Budget!!! We have thought of the budget, but until we know what the Grads would like to do we are unsure of what exactly our budget will be. However, if we are to do the Sports Day- $200 (estimate) Grad Prank- $150 (estimate) Flash Mob- Free (estimate) Lip Dub- $170 (estimate) *All other costs depend on the other events, which are to be determined*
