3. Attendance There was over 13 members that showed to the conference. Thank you to all that showed and asked questions we appreciate it.

4. Gamma Chi Theta Contest We are nearing the end of the contest process please send in your essays the dates are as follows: • Contest begins: May 26th, 2009 • Essays sent in to President and Vice President by:   June 3rd , 2009 • The Board Chooses the top four essays by: June 5th, 2009 • Voting begins for the winning essay by: June 8th, 2009 • Voting ends for the winning essay by: June 13th, 2009 • The winner is announced on:  June 14th, 2009

5. Contest cont’d… Please keep in mind that we want anyone who is graduating in July to submit an essay. We feel that this an important event and no one should miss out on this great opportunity. So PLEASE do a short essay as soon as possible. 6. Fundraiser Details Though there has been an email sent out already from our Vice President Tiffany Zimmer. I will go ahead and repost what was stated about the fundraiser. Please members get your family and friends involved in this fundraiser. We need your support to build this organization up and to continue on with the efforts that are being put forth.

7. Fundraiser cont’d… • As a group, we have chosen to support the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life. This is an amazing organization and will definitely be able to help out someone in need. • The first fundraiser we have is ongoing and it is called SmartRaise. The Chapter website is : http://www.smartraise.com/gammachitheta • We need everyone to register as a supporter, and then make your purchases through our organization. There are thousands of stores available online to shop through and a portion of all sales will be credited to our organization. Here's what to do: • Go to the website above, click on Sign Up Now. Fill in the information with your First and Last name, as well as a Display name that will show on the website. Then fill in the zip code, email address, and create a password for yourself. When done, click that you agree with the terms and click Register. The next page should say Congratulations and you are all set! You may begin shopping or check out the Members Area. Thanks for everyone who is going to help out with this.

8. Fundraiser Cont’d… The next fundraiser is BearyThoughtful Fundraising. This website has the most adorable little bears for sale. Again, let all of your family, friends, coworkers know about these. The company I am working with is finalizing our order processing now, since it involves products and we are online so we need to have everything worked out to our greatest benefit. 10. Linda Feldman our Guest Speaker While this meeting was going on we were conversating via internet and the teleconference line. There was so much said and the members that attended learned a lot. This information that will be provided is just a brief of what Linda thought would be very insightful for people and hopefully you all will use this to your advantage.
