  3. FORWARD Resistive Plate Chambers Final Gas mixture used in all tests 95.5 Freon 3.5 Isob 0.3 SF6 + RH 50% = 5000 ppm

  4. Forward RE Resistive Plate Chambers • 96 Channels. 3 sectors by 32 strips A ,B, C • Standard LVDS output • Slow Control for Threshold and temperature measurements for each F.E.B.

Quality Control and Certification for CMS installation • Checklists are included in all production steps • Quality control and measurements for the gaps • Cosmic Test Data for Noise, Strips Profile, Efficiency, Cluster Size, HV monitoring, Environment conditions. Certification file for each Endcap RPC Detector

  22. Summary and Future • Summary • All tests and QC for RE chambers are set up. • 100 chambers (RE) are Quality Certificated and ready for Installation in CMS experiment • Production and QC processes are in time. • To do • Optimizing the tracking software
