More Ingredients ● 2 tbsp butter ● 1 bay leaf ● ½ cup finely chopped onions – 100 grams ● ½ tsp cumin powder ● ½ tsp Coriander Powder ● ½ tsp red chilli powder ● 1 cup water ● 2 green chilies ● salt as required ● ½ tsp sugar ● 200 grams Paneer ● 2 tbsp grated paneer ● ¼ tsp Garam Masala Powder ● 1 tsp kasuri methi ● 2 tbsps heavy whipping cream Method: Preparing the Gravy Paste ● Mix chopped tomatoes, cashews, chopped ginger and garlic, green cardamom, cloves and water in a small pan. ● Cook until the tomatoes are softened. ● Allow this mixture to cool down and add to a blender jar; Blend it into a fine paste. ● Heat butter in a pan and add the tej patta; Sauté for a couple of seconds. ● Add finely chopped onions. Saute well. ● Once the onions turn golden brown add the gravy paste. ● Add cumin powder, coriander powder and red chilli powder. Stir and saute; ● Add water and mix very well. ● Add the slit green chilies. Stir and allow the gravy to come to a simmer.
