our expectations of you
Provide a fair and equitable play group for all participants

Read, understand and apply the rules of the league

Know and obey the laws of the game

Laws and rules are different

Develop each player to their fullest potential

As adults, we serve as role models

The model they follow is the one they see when we think they are not looking!

Our Expectations of You
how things work in d p
We hear about an issue/incident that day or the next at the latest and we look at game reports for compliance

We always consult with the referee(s).

We always consult with the club President/D&P Committee member for your club.

You are the representative of your club at the game site.

Your actions reflect on your club, your team and most importantly your family.

We will watch your team play.

You are the last person we speak with when an issue arises.

We will follow rules (TYSA Red Book) to reach a decision

How things work in D&P
keep your perspective you are a role model
We don’t want to D&P a player, a coach or a team

The D&P committee is composed of at least one member from each club

We don’t make emotional decisions nor do we carry vendettas

We just apply the rules

If you understand the rules and follow them, you will not hit the radar screen

Keep Your Perspective -you are a Role Model

Coaches – log in to the Affinity website and check your schedule

Under the Game number you will see a reschedule button prior to a game being played

The ability to reschedule disappears ~7-10 days before game day

Coaches/Team Managers will have the ability to enter a new date, time, field, etc and an email will be generated to the opposing team contact

They can go back and forth twice until the system will deadlock the request and then the TYSA admin will need to complete

System will alert if there is a coaching conflict or there is already a game scheduled for the date and time

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO CHECK YOUR EMAILS AND THE GAME SCHEDULE ONLINE
