  4. Baleia-Azul • Habitat A Baleia-Azul migra paraos mares polares, onde há muito alimento no Verão, e vive nos mares quentes durante o resto do ano. Mares polares Mares quentes

  5. Baleia-Azul • Respiração Tal como os outros mamíferos,a Baleia-Azul respira por os pulmões. Ela inspira ar pela boca e expira-o pelo expiráculo, um oríficio na cabeça.

  6. Baleia-Azul • Características A cor do corpo da Baleia-Azul é acinzentado, meio azulado, com manchas azuis claras espalhadas por todo o corpo.Relativamente aos outros rorquais, a cabeça é achatada por cima, com a barbatana dorsal muito recuada.

  7. Baleia-Azul • Tamanho A Baleia-Azul é o maior animal do mundo. Uma fêmea adulta pode chegar a medir cerca de 24 metros, mas a maioria mede 19 metros. E um macho podem chegar a medir 33 metros de comprimento e pesar cerca de 180 toneladas de peso.

  8. Baleia-Azul • Alimentação A Baleia-Azul alimenta-se de krill, e também de pequenos peixes e lulas.
