Outcomes for June 17 • Teams will be formed with team leads identified • Each team will have a clearly identified crime to reduce or prevent and a strategy for reducing or preventing this crime that requires community and staff collaboration for success • A draft work plan that outlines the desired results, next steps and general timelines • Commitment to follow through • Understanding of the systems that will support team effectiveness Safe and Clean Round II June 3 2009

  4. Suggested Crimes to Target • Assault, including domestic violence • Residential burglary • Vandalism/graffiti • Theft, including from vehicles • Narcotics, including drug houses • Prostitution • Illegal gang activity

  5. Homework • Take time between now and June 17 to learn more about at least one area in which you find yourself particularly interested. It could be about a particular crime or a particular prevention strategy. • Be prepared to propose or join a team Safe and Clean Round II June 3 2009
