  2. Who • CISL/DSS - maintain NCEP operational analyses and observation datasets • Gregg Walters, Doug Schuster, Steven Worley (Manager) • MMM – know about user support and needs of the WRF and MM5 community • Cindy Bruyere, Hui-Chuan Lin

Why • Coordinate dataset development with the significant user group associated with WRF and MM5 • Terminating time series extension of datasets in some historical formats, e.g. ON29 • Clarify our presentation of datasets • Clarify what data is available in the Research Data Archive (RDA) • Learn about current/future data requirements for MM5 and WRF • Work with MMM to assure good data guide documents for RDA resources
