  2. Why • Well-received by the patients • Easily accessible • Very few complications • Safe • Little infraestructure • More services for our patients with an increase in the quality of health care • Cost-effective for the health system

  3. How • Team consisting of 2 GPs, 1 pediatrician, 2 nurses, 1 nurse aid and 1 podiatrist. • First visit to evaluate the feasibility of surgery • Explain the procedure to the patient and sign the informed consent • Second visit – the surgery • Follow-up visits and nurse care • Pathology results

Interventionprotocol • It was designed and explained to all the members of our clinic (intranet) • Pathologies that can be treated in our clinic • Referral pathway for the first visit • Intervention procedures (time, material, techniques, clothes,...) • Handling and analisys of specimens by Pathology • Postoperative care

  7. Pathology concurrence was 77% (referred samples in 42,5% of cases) The average waiting time was 12 days to first visit / 39 days to surgery

  8. What do you think about the Assistance ?? 12,5% of the patients did not come

  9. SATISFACTION 98%

  10. Conclusions • Cost-effectiveness for the health system • Safe • Convenient and short waiting list • What to improve: the percentage of the samples sent pathology (60-80%) and improving the assistance (phone and sms reminders).
