  2. Executive Summary   Today baking is no longer a leisure pursuit. More and more home bakers have transformed this hobby in a profitable enterprise. If in the past homemade goodies were only in demand in during the holidays. The company comes up with the idea to put up a pastry shop named “HEAVENDILOCKS Brownies4u” that not only satisfy one’s sweet craving but also to offer a healthy and nutritious brownies for everyone. While other businesses mainly offer either liquids or solids in their menu, “HEAVENDILOCS Brownies4u” will provide its strategy market with what is called “compact food” – one that buyers can take with them and consume only by one hand. As a whole, “HEAVENDILOCKS Brownies4u” will be build up for those who uses a short time for eating and for anyone who loves brownies. It will be soon a great success in the line of pastries and sweets, and someday, brownies will become part of season’s greetings aside from cakes and cookies.

  3. Personal Details Authors Mary Grace Ellen Fernandez She was born in Rizal on the 13th day of September 1995. She is now a fourth year student at Manuel I. Santos Memorial National High School. She is a good planner and this ability can be her way to success in the world of business. Although she is a shy-type person, it will not be a barrier for her in reaching goals. Marlon Cordova He was born on the 1st day of October 1995. He is studying at Manuel I. Santos Memorial National High School and now a fourth year student. He is a good leader and leadership is one of the characteristics of a good entrepreneur. He is able to direct, guide, influence and affect people. This way, HEAVENDILOCKS problems can be overcome with ease.

  4. Maria Nerizza Bufi She was born on the 31st day of May 1996 in Quezon City. She is a fourth year student at Manuel I. Santos Memorial National High School. She wants to enter the world of business because she wants to earn money. She always understand the values of money and careful about finances. II. Advisor. Ms. Bernadeth Bautista She is known for her ability in using, in repairing and assessing computers. She is a teacher of ICT subject at Manuel I. Santos Memorial National High School since 2006. She is also a mentor in step skills particularly in the business planning category.

Overview of the Business • HEAVENDILOCKS Brownies4u • Business Model • HEAVENDILOCKS is a place where you can enjoy heavenly tasting brownies that will surely tickle the customers’ taste buds and make them want more. Customers will be healthy in no time because like no other pastries, our brownies are made fit to their health conscious diet. You will never want to despise sweets anymore. • Mission: • To make healthy and nutritious yet delicious brownies that will be a replacement for junk foods. And to offer foods that can be eaten anywhere, anytime and even in the most hectic schedule of the buyers. • Vision: • HEAVENDILOCKS is endowing the quality taste of delicious brownies that will promote healthy eating and the brownies will soon to be a part of season’s greetings that are best for pasalubong, parties, gift and giveaways, occasions and special celebrations.

  6. Business Plan • The Problem/Need. • Nowadays, people are getting addicted to junk foods. HEAVENDILOCKS will be serving nutritious brownies to maintain the healthy lifestyle of students and teachers. It is important to have a healthy lifestyle to prevent a person getting ill. And our health will be at a good level since it is our treasure. • To ensure our health, HEAVENDILOCKS will serve brownies made from premium and fresh ingredients. Aside from being nutritious, it will also guarantee to customers that workers will be observing cleanliness while working. It will have a different varieties of flavors each day and different choices of toppings as well.

Vision, Mission and Values. • Vision: • HEAVENDILOCKS is endowing the quality taste of delicious brownies that will promote healthy eating and the brownies will soon to be a part of season’s greetings that are best for pasalubong, parties, gift and giveaways, occasions and special celebrations. • Mission: • To make healthy and nutritious yet delicious brownies that will be a replacement for junk foods. And to offer foods that can be eaten anywhere, anytime and even in the most hectic schedule of the buyers • Values: • HEAVENDILOCKS is set up in a belief that its brownies are made not only to satisfy one’s sweet cravings but also to sustain them nutritious foods.

  8. III. Marketing Plan. • Research and Analysis • HEAVENDILOCKS Brownies4u shop will be built in a school campus. It will be serving the students and teachers at the same time. Nowadays, it is almost impossible to find nutritious foods because junk foods and street foods which are unhealthy have conquered the local markets, but if ever heavenly brownies will be implemented it will be one of those few shops that offers nutritious and yet delicious brownies. • Marketing Plan • Some of the students have encountered times when they have to skip snack time just to finish what they are doing, so the company had the idea of having vendors roam around the campus during break time, so students can buy from them without getting out of the classroom. They can also leave orders at the cashier and it will be delivered by a worker of HEAVENDILOCKS at their recess. The shop will be open at 7 o’clock in the morning up to 4:30 in the afternoon. • The company is going to post posters and give pamphlets to students and teachers to advertise that a new and good pastry shop will be soon operating on their campus.

Production/Technical Plan. • Detailed descriptions of products and services. • Brownies comes in all guises – with nuts, butterscotch, swirled with cream cheese, shot through with mint or fruit filling, sprinkled with chips, spiked with espresso or boozed or just plain chocolate in a million of variations. But the most important is the texture. • HEAVENDILOCKS will be serving brownies that shot through with fruit fillings and sprinkled with special toppings. It will offer scheduled fruit filling every weekdays: for Monday: Mango, for Tuesday: Pineapple, for Wednesday: Apple, for Thursday: Yam, and for Friday is Coconut. The texture of the offering brownies is moist and chewy. And the customers have variety of choices for the toppings: sprinkle, marshmallows, chocolate chips, cheese, nips, and peanuts without additional payment. • B. Operating Strategies. • HEAVENDILOCKS Brownies4u must have enough baking tools and equipments with all the ingredients needed in making its products. • The needed tools and equipments must be provided by each of the owners.

  10. The Company is going to keenly watch their competitors how they make their product improved. And after that they will have to make better products to gain their customers back.

  11. C. Critical Risk. • HEAVENDILOCKS has its own competitors and one of it is Julie’s Bakeshop, where its products are purchased in the school canteen. It will be a different from its competitor because it will offer brownies with a variety of fillings that can satisfy the customer’s sweet cravings without getting rid of eating right. • V. Organizational/Management Plan. • As a flow HEAVENDILOCKS will be owned by a High School Students named Maria Nerizza Bufi, Marlon Cordova and Mary Grace Ellen Fernandez. They are looking forward of having investors to improve the business. • In a business it is important for the owner to have their own responsibilities in managing the business. The owners have decided to share task and work to maintain their business. • It will hire two employees at the counter; a delivery boy and one of their parents; to be the baker at morning. Once HEAVENDILOCKS had those employees it is able to make more income and they can help in maintaining a good name and products for its future customer.

Operational Plan. • HEAVENDILOCKS will be implemented inside the school canteen but farther than the products of Julie’s Bakeshop for the student to notice it easy. • Marlon will be the store dealer who will give service for the students and teachers who would like to order; Ma. Nerizza will be the store leader, she will be the one to check the transactions if it’s good or not, and at the same time she will be delivering the ordered brownies. Mary Grace Ellen will be the store accountant treasurer; she will compute and interpret matters related to money. In unison the three owners will be the afternoon session chefs. • And for the morning session it will hire a delivery boy who will be assigned to deliver the ordered brownies to the customers; two other employees, who will be at a counter during break time of the students and teachers who will also be the cleaners while there is no customer and who will be the guards as well to make sure that the customers and the shop itself is safe; and Nerizza’s mother will be the baker for the morning session and she will be the one to inspect if the employees are doing their job.

  13. Sustainability • I. Financial Plan • To be able to start this business, the company must have at least Php. 7,000 per week. • Php. 3,000 – Ingredients • Php. 1,250 – Salary • Php. 1,500 – Facilities ( Bills and Location ) • Php. 250.00 – transportations • Php. 1,000 – other expenses • Php. 7,000 – Total • HEAVENDILOCKS will make 200 pieces of brownies per day and each day brownies will cost Php. 7.50. In each brownie it will have a profit of Php. 0.50 and every week it will have Php. 500 income. And within the first 2 years of the business, investment should be returned to the owners and there must be a profit on it.

  14. HEAVENDILOCKS will have a raffle draw to get the required capital. The future owners will sell tickets worth Php.2.00 each, that raffle draw will be occur in the opening day of the business and the winner will receive a special brownies made by the owners. • II. Social Impact. • The owners have thought of ways to solve the lack of money. That is the reason why they want to build HEAVENDILOCKS. • The owners may be role models to their fellow students, to build their own business that can help in their financial needs.
