  7. New Strategies Developed • #1 Streamline and standardize. • #2 Communicate more with volunteers • #3 Develop new volunteer positions, including positions with greater responsibility • #4 Create ways for volunteers to be more flexible in their time commitment. • #5 Act on volunteers’ ideas

Volunteer resources manager position is changing Only 16% reported not having seen a change in the position Rapid change seen in skill needed and responsibilities • 46% - requires more skills to work with a wider range of volunteers and deal with more complexities. • 39% -needs skills to do more duties in the organization in addition to volunteer management. • 36% - has more responsibility as the organization is more dependent on volunteers.
