Alaska Quaternary Center AQC Student Travel Grant The AQC student travel grant is designed to support students presenting Quaternary-related papers and posters at national and international meetings. Support for other types of travel will be considered in exceptional cases. See http://www.uaf.edu/aqcfor more information Deadline: 5 pm 17th May 2013 • Requirements • Full-time graduate or undergraduate standing at UAF, UAA, or UAS • Student is intended to be lead author on paper or poster presented. • The paper or poster reports on Quaternary-related research (see web site for a definition). • To apply • Read instructions at http://www.uaf.edu/aqc. • Download application form from above link, fill it out, and submit it electronically to the AQC Director (mjwooller@alaska.edu). • E mail letter of recommendation from your advisor (also due by 5pm 17th May 2013). • Maximum award amount is $1500 • Questions? • Contact Matthew Wooller, mjwooller@alaska.edu or 474-6738
