  1. How to Register Your Clicker in the “My IllinoisState” Portal

  2. Locate the Device ID onthe back of your Clicker • Turn your clicker over and look on the back. • You will find a 6 character Device ID. • These characters may be a mixture of numbers and letters. • The letter “O” is NEVER used. If it is round it is a zero “0”.

  3. Login to My.IllinoisState.edu Launch your web browser, and go to the following URL (web address): http://my.illinoisstate.edu Click on the “Central Login” logo, and login with your ULID & password.

  4. Click on the ACADEMICS taband select Classroom Clickers

  5. Add Your Device ID • Locate the Device ID on the back of your clicker. • Enter that number in the “New Clicker ID” box. • OR Click “Change” to change your existing number. • Click “Update”.

  6. What This Will Do: • Your Clicker ID will be listed in the ISU mainframe computer. • Your Clicker ID will appear in all class rosters for which you are registered, allowing your course instructors to see what your clicker number is. • Your instructors may use this to ensure you get credit for responses in courses that utilize clickers. • If someone finds your lost clicker it can be tracked back to you.
