  2. THESIS • The boxer rebellion lasted as long as it did because the Chinese government, Qing dynasty, also didn’t want the westerners in their affairs.

  3. ARGUMENT 1 • The open door policy put the Chinese Nation in a corner ultimately creating the boxer rebellion

  4. ARGUMENT 2 • The boxer rebellion are extremist mercenaries who kills anyone including their own who believes or are involved with anything western.

  5. ARGUMENT 3 • The Chinese government, The Qing Dynasty, Didn’t want any outside power interfering with their nation. So they allowed the Boxers to last as long as it could have.
