  2. Casino Craps What is Craps? Who can play? A full table consist of 14-18 players. Though, there is no minimum players required. • Casino Craps is a dice game in which players place wagers on the outcome of a roll. • It is the most complex casino game

  3. Casino Craps What does a Craps table look like? • All Craps tables are essentially the same • 12 feet long by 3 ½ feet wide • Made of wood and padded leather

  4. Casino Craps The Layout: • Divided into three separate sections • Two identical end sections • One center section containing “hardways” and “proposition” bets

Casino Craps Dice Combinations: • Two dice thrown equals 11 possible numbers • They are: 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12 • Each dice has 6 sides, 6x6=36 combinations 1-1 1-2, 2-1 1-3,3-1,2-2 1-4,4-1,3-2,2-3 1-5,5-1,2-4,4-2,3-3 1-6,6-1,2-5,5-2,3-4,4-3 2-6,6-2,3-5,5-3,4-4 3-6,6-3,4-5,5-4 4-6,6-4,5-5 5-6,6-5 6-6

  7. Casino Craps Vocabulary/Definitions • Boxcars: a pair of dice totaling 12 • Craps: 2, 3, 12 • The Devil: 7 • Inside Numbers: 5,6,8,9 • Outside Numbers: 4,5,9,10 • Snake Eyes: a pair of dice totaling 2 • The “Yo”: dice totaling 11

Casino Craps The Shooter: • Only 1 shooter at a time. • Shooter must have a bet on the table • Shooter picks the dice • Must shoot with one hand • Hand must be over the table at all times • The shooters throws the dice the length of the table • At least one dice must hit the back end of the table • Players can elect not to throw the dice • However, once elected to throw, you must finish the roll.

  10. Casino Craps How do I know what to bet? • 90% of players play the pass line • Most of the bets in Craps are useless and give the casino (House) a huge advantage

  11. Casino Craps The 3% Rule • The rule of thumb is never give the House more than a 3% advantage on any bet.
