Respiratory Exam • Test items were chosen based on objectives • 20% -GRA, HIST, EMB • 20% - PHY, BCH • 20% - IDX, IMM • 15% - PAT • 15%- PHA • 10% - remaining disciplines • Questions relating to CLIN objectives are interwoven with questions related to the other disciplines. • ~30% of items contain clinical vignettes

  4. Respiratory Exam • Most questions had been used in previous years. • Flagged questions (by statistics or student comments were reviewed by Biegalke and Eastman • comments on other questions were obtained from Dane and Klabunde

  5. Respiratory Exam • Student performance EOB exam • Range 66.4% to 95% • Mean 80.5% • Median 80.7% • Student performance Practical • Mean 76.4% • Range 44-94% • All students passed the course
