  9. YES business incubator, objective We urge to attract young ICT people, train them, increase their business knowledge, connect them to the right business partners, so they could compete on the global market and help ICT become a leading industry in Macedonia.

Current projects CISCO entrepreneurship institute • Partners: USAIDMLGA, municipality of Gazi Babaand CEED • Implemented by: YES Foundation • Target group: young unemployed aged 18-30, from municipality of Gazi Baba • Objective: training of young unemployed people on how to write a business plan and start their own business

Current projects YES/CRB-SEEU incubator in Tetovo • Partners: SEEU, CRB and FIOOM • Implemented by: YES Foundation, SEEU, CRBand FIOOM • Target group: young unemployed aged 18-30 from Tetovo and Gostivar region • Objective stimulation and support of newly start-ups by youth not only in SEEU, but in the entire region of Tetovo and Gostivar

  20. Current projects • Innovation: won the project for the Government of Republic of Macedonia, as part of the Governmental campaign “Macedonia, country of information technology” to organize trainings for 7854 citizens, for basic computer usage, office packages and internet usage.

  21. Success stories • Moments Dooel organizes the event “Annual rewards for best practices in municipalities in Macedonia”in cooperation with USAIDMLGA, ZELSand Europe Council

Key problems • Time-related – lack of continuity in financing • Quality of management and offered services– above all depends on the selection of management, the incubator manager • Possession/ownership, risk of conflict of interests regarding objectives, bureaucracy, time loss in negotiation with differing partners
