  3. HRMS - Reporting Patty Peterson (DOP) and Cross-Agency Workgroup -- New series on Reporting in HRMS -- • One or two reports each PPA Meeting • Let us know what reports you want • Join a reporting workgroup

  4. VEBA MEP – Voluntary Employees’ Beneficiary Association Medical Expense Plan Brian Riehs, VEBA Service Group • Medical expense plan for Washington State employees in general government agencies and higher education institutions

  5. Appeals Process Larry Cade, PEBB/Health Care Authority • New process for when and how employees and their dependents appeal eligibility and enrollment decisions about their health care

  6. HRMS – Logged Changes in Infotypes Report Patty Peterson (DOP), Wendy Harris (ATG), Steve Nielson and Steve Ketelsen (OFM) • Use Logged Changes in Infotypes Report for HR, Payroll, Supervisors, and Managers to check entries and for audit purposes

  7. About PPA - Executive Committee • Comprised of representatives from agency HR and payroll staff and Central Support Agencies (DOP, OFM, DRS, HCA, OST). • Meets monthly to: • Determine issues and concerns of agency HR and Payroll staff and establish PPA Meeting agendas. • Coordinate Work Groups to build and present topics of interest. • Keep agency HR and Payroll staff informed!

  8. Why are Monthly PPA Meetings Important? • Communication and standards for Washington State • Ongoing resource for the most current information • Training • Problem Solving – agencies helping agencies • Networking with other agencies • Encourages use of the tools available (HRMS)

  9. Where We Are Heading • Proactive planning for relevant, engaging PPA Meetings on a regular schedule • Training, including “topic-building” - basics → advanced • Increased agency HR and payroll involvement in PPA • Listening to your needs!

How YOU Can Become a Part of the PPA Future! • Tell us your agency issues, concerns, and training needs • Share solutions - how does your agency do “X”? • Volunteer for a PPA Work Group, or help out at a general meeting • Attend PPA Meetings and encourage others to attend – learn and build confidence!
