SELEP EU Investment Prospectus: Driving Growth and Jobs in South East EU Region

SELEP was established in 2011 with a simple governance structure, focusing on growth communities, coastal, and rural areas. With increasing responsibility, SELEP is developing an EU Investment Prospectus aligned with the Economic Growth Strategy. Priorities include low carbon, social innovation, SME support, and coastal communities. The direction of Structural & Investment Funds emphasizes smart specialization and the 'Quadruple Helix' approach involving public, private, HEI, and civil society collaboration. Opportunities for social enterprise, innovation, and transnational programs like INTERREG and Horizon 2020 are highlighted. The emphasis is on projects that deliver tangible outputs in support of growth and jobs, following the principles of SMART – SUSTAINABLE – INCLUSIVE.
