How the Infusions of Foreign Capital and Technology Benefits Poor Nations? • The infusions of foreign capital and technology provide poor nations the chance to develop economically and spreading prosperity. • It also helps create conditions in which democracy and respect for human rights may flourish. • However, Jay Sawyer of Northbrook feels that this ethereal goal has not been achieved in most countries.

  5. The Downside of Building Products Overseas • According to Jay Sawyer, one of the biggest downsides of building products overseas in countries like China is that it puts our technologies at risk of being copied or stolen. • He feels that we cannot stop globalization but we can definitely make it more equitable by putting in place some important policies and strategies.
