  3. Steps to set up email in QuickBooks desktop The user can carry out the steps below to setup QuickBooks email via outlook. The user’s outlook profile can easily link to QuickBooks in order to send invoices, estimates, reports to the vendors and clients and they go as PDF attachment with the email. The user will have to first configure the outlook with the email address that they wish to use for emailing from QuickBooks. And then open the QuickBooks and also open Edit menu from the menu bar on the top. The next step is to select the preferences tab and then choose send forms. Now, visit my preferences tab and then choose the outlook radio out of the three options. The next step is to close the preferences window and try emailing something to yourself.
