Before August 17, 2000, Internet was only available in 29 cities.. It is an unprecedented growth of Internet in any part of the world.”

  29. QUICK SURVEY I am a member of a cyberNephrology discussion list. I am not a member of cyberNephrology, but I use a computer and the Internet regularly. I know how use a computer, but I am less familiar with the Internet. I have had some experience, but I am probably a “Beginner” - or - “I’m willing to learn!” I hope I never have to use a computer! I’m not familiar with it at all!

Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) suffers severe loss of revenue 1998: 16 million minutes in calls to USA 2001: 11 million minutes in calls to USA

ISP’s** now complaining the ban will trigger loss of revenue for them! They report many customers obtained Internet merely for Voice-over-Internet feature *Pakistan Telecommunication Authority **Internet Service Providers
