This study investigates the scattering of low-energy electrons on gold (Au) and silver (Ag) surfaces, aligning with theoretical calculations that assume a point nucleus represented by dN/dcosq.Sin^4(q/2). Additionally, we explore higher-energy electron interactions with gold, noting deviations from Rutherford scattering. These observations help us determine the charge distribution within the nucleus, with form factors computed as the Fourier Transform of charge distribution. Our findings will enhance understanding of nuclear structure and the underlying physics of particle interactions.

Low Energy Experiment • Scattering of a on Au & Ag agree with calculation assuming point nucleus dN/dcosq Sin4(q/2)
Higher Energy Electron - Gold • Deviation from Rutherford scattering at higher energy determine charge distribution in the nucleus. • Form factors is F.T. of charge distribution.
