  1. عوامل فرهنگي در كشاورزي شامل باورها و سنتها ، برتري ارزشهاي نسبي ، تعهدات اجتماعي ، برخي عناصر خرده فرهنگ دهقانی و نظام ارضي در كشاورزي مثل: مالكيت زمين، نظام زراعي و مناسبات و روابط اجتماعي فرهنگي بين آنها مي باشدکه کشاورزان وابستگی شديدی به اين عوامل دارند. تكنولوژي نيزهمچون فرهنگ حاصل قدرت فکری انسان و تركيب قوانين در طبيعت است پس براي دستيابي به تكنولوژي در هر بخشي منجمله كشاورزي نياز به انگيزه ها و خواستها و معيارهاي فردي و نهادي است .
